Batting cages
A batting cage is only as good as its structure and netting. We engineer galvanized steel frames to withstand line drives and weather, then tension commercial-grade netting so balls don't sag into the mesh or tear at the tie points.
Single or multi-lane layouts are designed around your space and use — backyard training, team practice, or facility operations. Turf, concrete, or hybrid hitting surfaces are chosen for durability and ball response.
We fabricate frames from 2-inch galvanized steel tubing with welded connections and embedded footings. Overhead supports are spaced to prevent net sag and sized to handle wind load and ball impact.
Freestanding or attached designs are available. For multi-lane facilities, we coordinate divider netting and ball-return curtains.
We install UV-treated nylon netting with 1.75-inch or 2-inch mesh — tight enough to stop balls without creating ricochet. All edges are bordered and reinforced at grommets and tie-down points.
Netting is tensioned with cable and turnbuckles so adjustments can be made as material stretches over time. Backstop and side panels are installed first, roof netting last.
Synthetic turf with padded underlayment gives realistic footing and absorbs cleat wear. For high-volume use, we pour concrete hitting zones with rubberized mats at the plate and pitcher's area.
Batting tee anchors, L-screens, and pitching machine mounts can be embedded during construction. Lighting is positioned outside the net envelope to avoid shadows and glare.
